Day 1: Launching Day (May 11, 2025)
The first day will commence with an Inaugural Ceremony, including a welcome address by the
Treasury Registrar Office, opening remarks by Hon. Second Vice President, Hemed Suleiman
Abdullah and a keynote speech by a renowned leader in Corporations in Zanzibar. A panel
discussion on the theme “Strengthening Public Investment Entities through Leadership and
Collaboration” will follow, featuring experienced CEOs, policymakers, and industry leaders. In
the afternoon, participants will engage in a Networking Lunch before diving into Breakout
Session I, focusing on leadership and governance for public investment entities, with
participants grouped by sector for in-depth discussions. The day will conclude with a
Networking session, complemented by cultural performances to celebrate Zanzibar’s rich
heritage.
Day 2: Knowledge Exchange and Workshops (May 12, 2025)
The second day will open with Breakout Session II, addressing critical topics such as digital
transformation in public investment entities, public private partnership, resource mobilization
strategies, power of CEOs and building resilient organizations facilitated by subject matter
experts. The afternoon will feature interactive Workshops, providing hands-on training on
innovative leadership practices and governance strategies. The day will close with a Social
Gathering, a relaxed beachside networking event aimed at fostering deeper connections among
participants.
Day 3: Final Day: May 13, 2025
The final day will focus on drafting and adopting actionable outcomes. The morning Working Session
will see CEOs and TRO representatives collaborate to draft resolutions, followed by a
presentation for feedback and discussion. In the afternoon, the Closing Ceremony will include
the adoption of resolutions, closing remarks by the Treasury Registrar Office, and the
presentation of a roadmap for the next year’s Forum. The Forum will conclude with a Farewell
Dinner (Gala Dinner) that will also serve to awards the best performing public investment
entities in Zanzibar, providing an opportunity to reflect on the event and celebrate its success
